Race Report:

I ran a 15k in Brisbane. The course was a 5k loop done three times. I won in 48:07 with 5k splits of 16:09/15:57/16:01. The race was small and friendly. There were kilometer splits instead of miles, which was nice. I was between 3:05 and 3:15 each k.

Jet lag has confused my body. It thinks that it is 3:00 a.m. tomorrow and that it is in the southern hemisphere. Presently none of those things are true.

-I need to get new shoes
-I need to stay awake all day today
-I need to get my training done in a solid way
-I'm glad I don't have to watch terrible Australian films on an airplane anymore. I can't believe I watched "Kings of Mykonos - Wog Boys 2" and "Australia". "Australia" reminded me of a incident when I was a child in which my father and I had to shoot a large opossum that had been terrorizing our barn. We had to shoot it seven times before it died.
