The last couple of weeks I've found a few things out about training.

1. It's hard to run 20+ miles a day for 7 days.
-so I take day 7 off.

2. Carrying along electrolyte beverages and carb-rich nutrition is hard
-I use Endurolyte capsules at water fountains, and use my multi-pocketed raceready shorts.

3. Protein bars contain all kinds of weird stuff to keep them solid and make them palatable.
- we use Alton Brown's protein bar recipe with some tweaks, with splendid results.


Week in training - 7/19-7/25

Mon - 20 a.m. 4 p.m.
Tues - 16 a.m. - 8mi steady/8mi MP - 53min/43min
Wed - 19 a.m. 3 p.m.
Thurs - 17 a.m.
Fri - 20 a.m.
Sat - 22 a.m. ~2mi at tempo at 15 mile point
Sun - OFF - walk to church

121 miles in 6 days, 1 MP workout, ~12.5 hours running.
