Also, I just got in to the Elite Development program at the Chicago Marathon. It's neat, because I have a chance to win some money, and I'll get some of the perks of the real elite types. Now all I have to do is make it there.

I'm back on the trails now. I've been out at the park the last two days, and everything has gotten green and full. This is great when you need to hide to take a whiz, but I kind of miss the empty feeling of a leafless, grey morning in the winter. I haven't been able to run too much, my quads still feel like they have knives lodged in them whenever I run down a hill, but everything else is pretty much fine. I plan on racing again halfway soon in Cary in the middle of May for a half, then returning to Ellerbe, NC for the Boogie Marathon, the race that nearly killed me a year ago. I've got a score to settle. So high mileage and lots of stretching for the next several months.
