Still running and trying to get into shape. My recent goals have been trying to get my normal pace down around 6 min./mile, which is harder than I thought. I used to do that everyday for every normal run. in about 3 months I'll have to hold 5:11 pace for 13 miles, so I've got a lot of work to do, and I've got to do it all alone. I'm moving to a new place tomorrow, which happens to be right near a track, and has quicker access to some greenway trails. It's still not ideal conditions. Hopefully something good will happen soon so I'll have something decent to blog about. I'll start listing some run data though, just in case it's interesting.
Monday - 12 miles | 4 miles in a.m., then 8 miles with the team right afterwards. I'm also going to have to balance coaching stuff and my own training over the next several months.
Tuesday - 8 miles | tried to do progressive run, from 7:30 pace down to 5:00 pace, but the Garmin was not having it.
Wednesday - 10.5 miles | ran a couple miles before practice then paced the kids on a 4 mile LT.
Thursday - 7 miles | kind of tired, I've been cleaning the apartment the last couple days and UHaul has screwed us over, so I've been a little on edge. Plus I'm planning a 2-3 mile test run tomorrow at 1/2 thon pace.
