Well I have had decent training week until the last few days. 132 miles through cold, ice, rain. But now I'm suffering some pretty good pain just to the inside of my tibial tuberosity. Running doesn't really make it much worse, but it's just not going away. I'm taking hopefully just one day off, but we'll see. I feel worse because I have allowed myself to get unduly confident, nearly self righteous in my ability to train and my approach to high mileage and intense training. I consider this a good piece of humble pie, bringing me back to earth. I hope that I can heal quickly and re-approach this thing more clear headed and reasonable.
