I've been cranking out the miles. I topped 100 for the first time last week, and will hover in the 90s for a while. Thanks to all of the core stuff and other strength stuff, I've been uninjured. Only my feet have been a little sore, and I'm hitting the sack around 9:30 every night.

This weekend I have a stupid plan:

Trish and I are going to go out to the Blue Ridge Parkway and I'm going to run up Mt. Mitchell. It's about 15 miles from the start of the parkway to th
e top of the mountain. Here's a pic:


So that's the plan. We'll see how it goes. It would have been nice to camp there, but it's labor day weekend, so we're going to have to shoot from the hip. Wish me luck!
